This blog illustrates my theological views. I’m 21-years-old and in my youth, I am loaded with zeal and wanting in wisdom. Like J.C. Ryle said, “It may be true that wise young believers are very rare. But it is just as true that zealous old believers are also very rare.” This blog is a product of my zeal, yet I admit that in my youth I’ve got many kinks to work out in my theology and in my practice. I believe that my zeal is backed up for the most part by Biblical truth, and that is the authority that I stand on. Nonetheless, I am but a fallible man and I do not believe my views to be definitive. I believe in absolute truth, yet I do not think that any single person can fully understand it before the resurrection.
Therefore, while I stand on what I say, I am not so vain as to think that my views can never change. While I hold full conviction to my beliefs, they’ve changed before and they may again. I do think that Biblical theology sets up a parameter, making it clear what is out of bounds. So there are definately things that I will never turn back to again (arminianism, for example). Still, my theology is in the works, and it will remain so until the Last Day.
